So, today was the first official day of summer for us. The girls will usually go to daycare on Tues/ Thurs, but we both had things going on today, so we took them today and they will go back again Thursday. Michael and I actually woke up before they did this morning. I guess they were tired! Michael and I spent the morning at his new school and I must admit that I am more than a little jealous. It is a beautiful, brand new school and the theatre department is kind of like the golden child of the school right now. It was an answer to a prayer, for sure. Now if only I could get another job... I know, I know. I should be happy with what I have, but it really stinks to drive so far every day to work. *sigh* I am reminding myself to count my blessings again right now. I had my annual exam today. Yippee. I know, great way to kick off summer! lol! Well, at least I got it over with, right. In other news, Michael is getting a truck. He is trading in the Jetta that he got when we moved out here since he won't be driving so far on a daily basis any more. It was supposed to be delivered today, but there was some sort of problem and it is stuck in Paris. Paris, Texas that is. We will probably get it tomorrow.
