Ah, another great day. I hate to say it outloud because it makes me want to knock on wood or something. lol! This morning the girls slept until almost 8. To be fair, I heard Dylan around 6:30 but only for a minute. Now, was that because she went back to sleep or because I did? The world may never know. By 10 Dylan was sleepy, so I put her down for a nap and went to church. When I came home, both girls were asleep. Wow! Here, I will make a mommy prediction. Dylan has another EI... she has her post op appointment tomorrow (because it totally slipped my mind on Friday) and I fully expect them to tell me her left ear is having problems. She's been pulling at it and while she hasn't had a fever, she's been sleeping a lot and feels warm to me. It may be teeth or just growing, but my bet's on the left ear. I'll let you know tomorrow. Anyway, back to our day! When they woke up from their naps, we ate lunch, packed a bag, and went to Noa's house to swim. We haven't really been swimming since last summer, so I had no idea what the girls' reactions would be. Despite the pictures (which make S look like she's whining the whole time) they both really loved it. Scout held her breath and put her face in the water and jumped to Daddy and Jacob from the side of the pool. If we would have let her, Dylan would have swam off by herself, I think. She had no fear at all. Here are the pics

Dylan's favorite spot in the pool was by the hose
because she like to terrorize everyone else!
After swimming, we changed clothes and went to Babes. If you're ever in the Dallas area, check it out. It's one of the best restaurants ever! Served family style and the sides are all you can eat... I just ate there and want to go back! Ha! On the way there, Dylan made faces at me
While waiting for a table, Noa and Scout rode the horsey... erm, saddle. Sorry about the blurry pic. I left my actual camera in the car and took this with my iPhone which is not great for low light or moving kids.

Dinner... mmmmmm...

Dylan didn't make it on the way home. I've been having problems getting Scout to go to sleep when we put her down, but she didn't protest at all tonight, either. Guess we'll have to go swimming more often!
