Remember how I was talking about how Scout isn't sleeping at night. Well, last night she pulled a big one. We didn't know it until this morning... she took off her pajama pants and her diaper sometime last night. This wouldn't be a big deal, but she peed EVERYWHERE! I keep the beds double-sheeted with a waterproof mat between the layers, but it didn't help anything last night... and I JUST washed their sheets earlier this week. *sigh*
So this morning Scout wanted to play "hide and seek" which is really just peek-a-boo under a blanket. lol! We made a super-secret hiding place under the table. Want to see?
Where did they go?
Oh! There they are!
I think we played for an hour straight - and then they played with daddy again tonight!
Dylan went down for a nap and I went to church. When I came home, both girls were waking up from naps so we ate lunch and played some more. Then we got ready to go take some pictures. Check out Scout's hair! Isn't it cute?
The plan was to take some of each of us and some of the family but it was seriously hot! I know it was over 100 degrees - my car said it was 103. We melted. And melted down. The pictures are on the good camera and I haven't even looked at them yet, so I won't be posting those today. Tonight Scout gave me another gem that I will be putting in the sidebar. The girls took a nap when we got home, got up, ate, played hide and seek with daddy while I cleaned in the kitchen and did a load of laundry. I gave them a bath and put Dylan to bed... played with Scout for a while and when it was time for her to go to bed. She didn't want mommy to put her to bed. She wanted daddy. That was a first. And she is quiet upstairs... daddy may be putting her to bed more often!

I think it's important to note that on the picture of me holding Scout...she has her cape on and she's flying!! :)
otherwise it looks like aunt sarah has never held a child before and doesn't really know what to do...hahaha
After reading Aunt Sarahs comment, I now have to go back and look at that picture again! hihi!
I LOVE the new comment in the side bar, that is such a classic! I love that you are writing all these down, cause believe me, I didn't and we forget them!
Good luck tonight, with the keeping the nappy on! I am so lucky, my boys never got wise to that one!
Hugs
