Today was pretty boring for blogging. :-) The girls went to day care and had lots of fun. Scout's friend, Jessa, has missed having her there every day. She gave Scout big hugs when we got there and more hugs when we left. Michael had his friends over to play D&D again, so I ran some errands and did a lot of window shopping. I went to Stonebriar Mall and planned on shopping and seeing a movie, but when I checked the listings there wasn't anything I really wanted to see, so I just spent more time in Barnes and Noble. :-) I had a hard time figuring out what to take a picture of today... I almost took one of M and his D&D buddies. After the girls' bath, I was combing Scout's hair and it struck me to take a picture of it. It's getting so long!
I went outside after the girls were in bed and heard mewing that didn't sound like our cats. I looked around and saw 2 kittens on our porch! They were back behind things and kind of skiddish, so I didn't make much contact. I did put out some extra food and water for them. They look old enough to be eating solid food.
Wednesday 6/23:
This morning there was a third kitten outside and all of the food I put out for them was gone. We've had a stray dining with our cats for a few weeks, and I thought she might be the mama. When I saw this, I knew for sure.

They ran off right after I took that one. I was on the other side of the storm door and I think I must have made some noise.
Scout and I went to the library for story time again today and we got to see a real milk cow!

Here is the cow actually being milked by the machine. All I could think of was the relief she must have been feeling! Trust me, Bessie, I've been there!
Scout was less than impressed and kept saying she wanted to go home and get in her bed upstairs. lol!
I tried to get a picture of her in front of the cow, but she wasn't having any of it.
We came home and Scout ate lunch and went to her bed upstairs. :-) Jacob came over to hang out with Michael and we all ate lunch. Scout and Dylan woke up about the same time and we hung out around the house the rest of the day. I forgot to mention this, but last night the left side of my neck and my left shoulder really started hurting. It still hurt all day today, so I tried to take it easy. Tonight the girls took extra pleasure in brushing their teeth, so I thought I'd snap a picture
