This was at daycare - I rarely dress them alike, but I love this print and they aren't exactly alike, right? ;-)
Wednesday 6/2:
Tonight Scout didn't want to put her pajamas on. We let her run around a while after her bath in just her diaper... not sure why it doesn't want to turn this one
Thursday 6/3:
Today was the last day of classes for my students (thank goodness!) and a short day for me. I left early to take Dylan to her 1 year/15 month well visit. She is 21lbs, 4oz, which is a little less than a few weeks ago when she got her tubes, but she's walking now and it was a different scale, so I'm not worried. She's right around the 50 percentile for her weight and height. That kind of blows my mind since she was born so early and Scout is the small one. She got 4 shots today and cried that pitiful no sound cry that babies have that breaks your heart. As soon as I picked her up, it turned into a whimper and by the time we got into the car to go home, she was babbling and giggling again. Here she is playing peek-a-boo with me and showing off her band aids
Friday 6/4:
Today was my last day of the school year at work. :o) I had to go in and clean up my classroom, turn my keys in, and make sure things were locked up since there will be people using my room all summer. Tonight we went to a Mexican restaurant and Scout wanted to try the hot sauce. It wasn't too hot, so we let her. I think she would have drank it if we'd have let her!

Dylan loved her chicken, beans, and rice

Saturday 6/5:
This morning, Scout decided that she did not want to take a morning nap, so she and I went to the library. We stayed almost an hour and read books and played with their toys. We brought home 6 books for the girls and one for mommy! This afternoon, the Newmans came over to hang out with us before we went to Chad's mom's 50th birthday party. It was Lacey's birthday today, too and the girls gave her birthday lovin'! They really stuck to her like glue today. I thought it was really sweet.
Here are all 4 of our kiddos when we got to the restaurant and they realized they had free-reign of the room
Dylan and I played peek-a-boo with a napkin for a while
I forgot about my camera for most of the night... I hope Lacey doesn't mind but here are some that she took!
More peek-a-boo

Scout demanded (more than once) that Lacey take her picture

Silly girl found Eileen's hat!

Sunday 6/5:
Well, we didn't get home until almost 10 last night and the girls were worn out! That did not stop them from getting up at 7 this morning, though. Although they were up, they were not "at 'em"
Scout was very protective of her balloons from last night
Scout skipped her morning nap again. I put her down, but she screamed off and on for nearly an hour and when I finally went in to get her, she had gotten her knee caught between the bars of her crib. I don't think she was stuck for long because her cries had only been "serious" for a few minutes. I still felt bad. After their afternoon nap (which they both took), we colored
Later, we set up the sprinkler and the girls ran/ crawled around outside in the water. Dylan took the crawling approach. She stopped about right there and looked at us like "what do I do now?"
Scout screamed and cried and refused to get wet... even though she had been asking to go play in the water all day!
We finally put the sprinkler away and brought out the little pool. Can you tell that my girls are sisters? lol!
Splash!
Scout was not happy when Daddy splashed her, so she tried to get him back
A soaked Dylan
