Not much excitement today. The girls went to day care and apparently Scout was in rare form. Miss Becky and Miss Kara both texted me at different times to tell me how cute she is. Ha! I know it - and so does she! Just ask her. She'll tell you, "I so cute." Michael and I spent the morning at his new school setting things up in his classroom. We talked to the other theatre teacher for a while and met his wife, who was there helping him work in his room.
Then we went to Sam's and Wal Mart for the big monthly grocery etc trip. :o) That's not to say that we don't go back during the month, but we usually only get things like produce, milk, bread... the stuff that spoils quickly or that we use a lot of... or both!
I had a teleconference this afternoon. Exciting, I know. I am going to be a teaching assistant for Ashford University's online courses. Tuesday of next week I will start my official training and before the end of the summer I will be put into a class. Hey, it's extra money, I'm always on the computer anyway, and looks good on resume's. All it's costing me is a little bit of time. :o)
So, now for the pictures of the day... we bought Scout her first pull ups today. When she came home, we put them on her and I asked her to model. First, she was shy
Then a little sassy
Dylan wanted to get in on the photo shoot
Finally, Scout laughed at me and showed me her new pull up
They have princesses on them and part of them changes color if she wets in them. We're taking a big step in the potty progress! I'll keep you posted on how it all goes.
