Day 9, 356 to go

POD

Well, today I took down the Christmas tree. I took the ornaments off over a week ago, but I haven't taken the lights off or put the tree back in its bag. Why not? Maybe I don't want the Christmas season to end. Maybe I like that special feeling to last a little longer... oh, who am I kidding? I'm lazy and it's cold outside so I haven't wanted to go out to the barn to get the bag.

Today Dylan got her own snack trap at snack time. She figured it out in no time and was chowing down on her snacks - instead of trying to steal Scout's. So that's good for everyone. In other news, Scout came down from her nap and the NYJ/ CIN game was on the television. She looked at it and screamed, "Go Cowboys!!!" Well, her training has begun but is not yet complete. She is still a Padawan learner. Her heart is in the right place...

It's still super cold here, but the wind is not bad and the sun is out. I think I heard the low last night was 12. I did see in the forcast that the high is supposed to reach 60 by the end of the week. I'll believe it when I see it! The danes have learned how to climb (not jump, climb) the gates, so leaving them inside during the day is no longer an option. Yesterday they went upstairs, pooped and peed all over our room and slept in our bed. I'm glad Michael made it home first because I would have gone nuts if I had to clean that up. Luckily by the time I got home, the rug was in the washer and the sheets were waiting to be next. When we let them back in last night, they tried to climb it again, but Michael went downstairs and calmed them down. I'm glad because I would hate to leave them outside in the cold, but they can't be trusted to have the run of the house, either.

That's all for now. Both girls decided it is time to scream for no apparent reason, so mommy has to go quiet things down.

We were late taking the tree down as well, I didn't actually have it undecorated until the 31st, then Rob did the rest..

Sorry about the dogs, I'm glad you didn't have to clean that mess up either :)

We took our tree down yesterday, decorations off of it on the 6th, but like you - I didn't want to go to the barn either, too cold. Plus I needed DH help getting the lights off of it! Ours is now in the barn waiting to be picked up to go on the big village bonfire in February!
Great pic of your daughter
CU tomorrow
