Day 17, 348 days to go

POD

It's been a long day. Both girls are still not feeling 100% and both girls wanted one thing. Mommy. All. Day. Long. Neither wanted to nap for long and neither wanted to share mommy's lap. For a few minutes, Dylan was content to play by herself and Scout and I went outside. She helped me feed the kitties and thought that part of that was to hand them pieces of food. "Here, Kitty. Eat!" They looked at her like she was crazy. And now, off to empty and load the dishwasher so we will have clean bottles for day care tomorrow. :-)

Our cats names are now "Yogurt" and "Okee"
Yogurt because Caillou's cat's name is Gilbert and when Scout says it, it sounds like yougurt.
Okee is because I asked Scout what we should name the other kitty and she said "other kitty" which sounds like Okee in toddler-talk.

Mommy: Scout, we don't take toys away from Dylan. You have to share.
Dylan: No no no no no no no!
My 13 month old has learned the word no. Lord help us all!
