It's cold. Super cold. I mean, it's not supposed to get above freezing until the weekend. It hasn't been this cold in something like 15 years here. Lucky for us, there was only a very light rain this morning, and there is no more predicted. But, because the wind chill was zero, we left the dogs in all day. Usually, when it's cold, they come in when we come home and go outside during the day. They were very good and made themselves right at home in the utility room.

Deebo (in front) is... gosh... nearly 7. Dakota is 5 or 6. That's ancient for great danes!
I am afraid of big dogs, but strangely enough I want a really big dog or really small dog.. How are they around kids?
They are awesome around ours. When Scout was learning to walk, they just knew they should give her extra space. They really are gentle giants.

i love the bit about swapping sides on the bed, I am the same as you, I will NOT give up MY side, and just like you DH suggested it not that long ago, something to do with it being better for his back...I don't think so!!!
