So, today's picture is my kitchen. It's a wreck. I had no time to clean yesterday, and this is what I have to look forward to... right after I finish blogging.
We sent Dylan to daycare today even with her double ear infection. I have a huge amount of mommy guilt going on for that. I wish I could have stayed home with her and held her all day long, but it's finals week and both Michael and I are administering finals. If she had been sick with something contagious, of course, we wouldn't have sent her. But, an EI is not contagious and we don't have the paid time off to stay home unless is it absolutely necessary. I mean, I used 12 weeks for the last two years in a row. So I started off the school year with 10 paid days off. I now have 2 days left to make it through to May. I have a feeling I will end up getting docked at some point this year. *sigh*
So, I picked up Dylan early (left work at 2:30 since finals were over and I had grades put in the system already) and brought her home for some mommy time. She promptly fell asleep and that is probably the best thing for her right now. So, I've run out of excuses to avoid the mess in the kitchen... guess I should go tackle that now...

oh, poor Dylan, hope by the time you read this that the antibiotics have kicked in!
Love today's picture, it makes me feel quite happy that other peoples kitchens explode too sometimes! ;o)
