POD
Well, Dylan may be feeling better, but now Scout is sick. She woke up from a nap at daycare with a fever of 103.8! Michael took her to the doctor where she got a negative strep test, a negative flu test, no apparent ear infection... Since it's Friday, the doc prescribed antibiotics for her for 5 days. I'm really hoping it's not another bladder infection. This scenario is all too familiar. For those who don't know, Scout has vesicoureteral reflux which basically means her urine doesn't always go out the right way. Sometimes it flows back up into her kidneys. It causes UTI's and is no fun at all. Last spring, the pediatric urologist recommended surgery to correct it but we opted to put her on a daily dose of antibiotics and recheck her to see if it is correcting itself at all. So far, she hasn't had any more infections and our appointment with the PU is scheduled for March. Anyway, the POD is Scout sleeping with her daddy. She asked me to give her a bath around 5:15 tonight (usually doesn't happen until 7) and after the bath, I went to pick up Dylan from daycare. I came home and found them like this. Aren't they cute?
Now both girls are in bed and we are waiting for Aunt Sarah to get here. Michael and I are going to go to the grocery store tonight. Oh boy!

It's a super-cute photo, shame though that she is feeling poorly. I'll cross my fingers for you, that it isn't her bladder and that she gets better soon!
