Friday 7/2:
I still don't really remember what we did. I'm guessing we just stayed around the house. The girls pretended to "go bye bye". They got mommy's old purse and pretended to leave.
Bye bye!
Trying to figure out how to get it on her shoulder
Saturday 7/3:
We spend the afternoon and evening with Noa today. Her Grandma Sandi (and Scout's Grandma Sandi, if you ask her) was visiting so we had lots of fun with her. We played outside with Willy the Whale
The girls covered up the spray
and let go again
They washed their hair
Scout even got a drink
Silly, wet, Noa!
After their shower, the girls went into Noa's garage to play in Noa's special house
She has a door, windows with curtains, a porch, (can you see the slate pieces?) a tree, and even a rocking chair!
Pretty soon they got hungry so they had a picnic of cheese, crackers, and grapes.
When they were done and dressed, we went to a place called "Fish Camp". The plan was to catch our own fish and eat it for dinner. As we got closer, we realized that probably wasn't going to happen. The sky was getting darker and darker. So, we ordered our food and ate. The girls were disappointed because not only did they not get to fish, but they didn't get to "jump". There was a bounce house outside of the restaurant and by the time we finished eating, it was pouring down rain and the bounce house had been deflated. We stayed on the porch for a while after we finished eating. The girls played with hula hoops that were out and entertained everyone coming and going.
Next we went to a place called Shenanigans where the girls got to bowl and play games. Check out Noa's long curls!
We planned to go see fireworks, but our girls were way too tired, so we called it a night and went home.
Sunday 7/4:
This morning I went to church and Michael stayed home with the girls. When I came home, we ate lunch and then went to run errands. We got in daddy's big truck and went to Lowes and the grocery store.
When we came home, the girls took naps and we cleaned up. The girls took a nap and when they woke up, we discovered that Scout had pooped in her pull up, put her hand in there, and smeared it everywhere. Yuck! Here she is after her bath. Not happy at all.
When I took Scout's picture, Dylan got jealous and jumped in front of the camera to say cheese!
Michael made ribs for dinner - yummy!
Sunday 7/5:
This morning we got up and Scout was a little grumpy
So, mommy made cinnamon rolls (and coffee just for mommy!)
That lightened the mood
Then we went outside to play because the weather was beautiful!
They played with the kitties
Hey, Scout! Where'd the kitties go?
Found 'em
Guess it's time to go inside. Ha ha! Noa, Jake, and Melissa came to our house this afternoon to play. When I went upstairs to get Scout from her crib, the poop bandit had struck again. Seriously, child. You're going to be in your footy pajamas for every nap time from now on! We went to Pump It Up to make up for not being able to jump on Saturday.
Climbing the big stairs by herself! What a big girl!
Daddy and the girls sliding
Dylan playing ball
We came home and gave the girls dinner. Then we let them decorate cup cakes
I think Scout started eating before she started decorating!
Dylan liked her's, too.
After cup cakes, Dylan went to bed and the adults ate dinner. Michael made manacotti and it was delicious! The girls played some
and when we were all finished, Jake, Melissa, and Noa went home and Scout went to bed. Then I sat down to blog and I've been here for hours blogging and watching Sopranos. :-)
