Monday 7/19:
Most of the day was spent at the house. We went to the library and checked out some new books and movies.

Tuesday 7/20:
Today we drove to Grandma Sue Sue's house! Aunt Sarah and the girls and I drove to San Marcos for 6 whole days. The girls did pretty good in the car and we made it to SM by 3. That night, we had cupcakes for dessert! Dylan shared hers with Sue Sue

Wednesday 7/21:
Up and at 'em!
Scout helped Sue Sue decorate a cake for Grandma Rie and Papa Earl
We had a good visit with them.
I think they enjoyed the visit, too
Thursday 7/22:
This morning we got up and went to story time at Sue Sue's library. This lap time didn't last long. Dylan was so tired that she knew if she sat still for more than 30 seconds, she would fall asleep. So, she was up and roaming around growling like the dinosaur we were reading about.
After lunch, the great-grandparents left but we got some pictures first!

This afternoon, we went to the childrens' museum in New Braunfels. It was tons of fun! The girls loved the spaceship the most.
They got to be astronauts and push all of the buttons.
There was a little grocery store where they got to fill their baskets with fake food
Then they got to check out

Outside, Scout climbed a wall... for about 5 seconds
Aunt Sarah and Dylan hung out for a while
When we got hot, we went back inside and rowed a boat
We went in caves, saw fish and alligators, played with our shadows... and then we got tired and went back to grandma's.
Friday 7/23:
Today was our day with Aunt Michelle! We had big plans to spend time outside, but Mother Nature rained on our parade - literally! So, we made indoor plans - and had tons of fun anyway! We went to a place called Loco-Motion in South Austin - if you're ever looking for something to do with kids in the area, I highly recommend it! The girls had a blast. Here's Dylan cruising around...
For some reason, I'm reminded of Princess Fionna from Shrek...

We went back to Aunt Michelle's house for a nap
Then we went back to Loco-Motion and played some more
Dylan was going from one window to the other playing with grandma and Aunt Michelle. I'm not sure who had more fun - her or them!
She had something very serious to say to Sue Sue
Saturday 7/24:
This morning Scout, Aunt Sarah, and I went for a walk and picked flowers.
At lunch, Aunt Michelle came to Sue Sue's house and Dylan played peek-a-boo with her foot.
After lunch, we went into the backyard and played in the little pool
We played with bubbles
And colored with chalk
Some of the chalk even ended up on the patio
Sunday 7/25:
Today was the last day at Sue Sue's house.
We had milk and cookies and Scout drank from a big girl cup
We drove home and it was a looooong trip! Traffic was horrible and it took over 7 hours to get home. It usually takes 5. The girls hung in there. They were very well behaved for the whole trip, for the most part. My little travelers! They were soooo glad to see daddy when we got home and so was I!
Monday 7/26:
Today we hung around the house for the day. I think we were all recovering from our travels. Tonight, Scout decided to give herself a banana facial - and hair treatment.
So, we headed for the tub where the girls got a long, playful bubble bath
