April 30 - May 3, 2010

Friday:
Ahhh! We skipped our Friday tradition last week, so it was nice to go back. We went to Pizza Plus where they have a buffet on Friday nights. The girls are free and they love getting to eat all of the spaghetti and pizza they can fit in their little tummies. This week, mommy remembered to bring bibs so she wasn't spending half of her time trying to keep sauce off of clothes! Here are the messes

Saturday:

Today was Annabel's birthday party. Before we went, Scout and mommy played a little with some sunglasses. :-)

At the party...

Lacey took this one - I think it's adorable!

Dylan was really trying to walk. She took a few steps on her own several times. Her dress was too long for crawling, but she got too tired to walk, so she started bear walking - it was too cute!

Several cupcakes fell on the sidewalk and Scout managed to step in every one of them. Here is Daddy cleaning her feet - again.

Dylan found many laps... she really liked "Uncle" Chad's

Sunday:

Ah, the calm after the storm. :-) Nice, peaceful days like this are so nice after hectic ones like yesterday. Don't get me wrong, I love seeing friends and the girls love the attention they get, but it can be so draining! This morning the girls ate toast and bananas. Scout has been asking for toast for a while, but I just realized this week that "toast" was bread and butter. That's what they call it at daycare. no wonder she never ate the crispy stuff I kept trying to give her! Here she is, looking at Dylan. I love that you can see the love in her eyes.

Goofy kid!

Well, Scout got very tired yesterday at the party and fell down no less than 10 times. This was the result of several falls... skinned knee! Oh no, mommy! A owie!

Band aids make it feel all better... yes, she was naked except her diaper. We put the band aids on when we took her jamas off!

Monday:

So much for warm, nice, spring weather! Today we got chilly, gloomy, wet spring weather. That's okay... it means we don't have to water the flowers for another day. As I was fixing drinks for dinner, I noticed this rainbow outside:

Perfect timing! The sun was just going down and you can tell the gray clouds were still lingering. I'm ready for a good thunderstorm. I know that's probably weird, but what can I say? I like them as long as they leave the power on for us. :-)
