Tonight Aunt Sarah came and stayed the night with us to get ready to go to Houston tomorrow. The girls were just getting out of the bath tub when she got here, so she took Scout downstairs to play while I put Dylan to bed. They played with her necklaces and tried to put them on Aunt Sarah. :-) After the girls went to bed, Sarah and I packed, put everything in the car, and had some sister chat.
Saturday:
Today we woke up, ate breakfast, got in the car, and drove to Houston! My cousin, Melissa, had her wedding shower and we had lots of fun getting to see family. The girls dressed up in their pretty black and white dresses, but I didn't get many pictures - I was too busy having fun to take pictures of it all! I did get this one with Dylan and Sarah...
Sunday:
We stayed at Grandma Rie's house last night and today we played outside all morning. Papa Earl made us hamburgers for lunch and we headed home after that. Here are Scout, my mom, and her mom on the swing
Papa used to do a lot of wood-work and made these ducks in his yard. Scout loved them and decided she needed to ride on them.
Tonight when we got home, daddy had a surprise. A puppy! His name is Sarge and he's currently snoring on my feet.
