So, this weekend Michael built a small fence around the flower beds in the front yard. Last year, the dogs made the flower beds their own beds and trampled a bunch of flowers. Michael did a great job. Looking at it, you'd think the dogs would stay out.

Tell me then, why Atilla decided to hop into the flower bed from the porch

dumb dog!

~Scout 2/6/10 (After I explained to her that Sue Sue had to go bye bye. I told her she went back to her house and that satisfied her. So much for the simplest answers!)

Mommy: Scout, you look thug-a-licious in that hat.

Scout: (smiles) Thanks!

Our cats names are now "Yogurt" and "Okee"
Yogurt because Caillou's cat's name is Gilbert and when Scout says it, it sounds like yougurt.
Okee is because I asked Scout what we should name the other kitty and she said "other kitty" which sounds like Okee in toddler-talk.

Mommy: Scout, we don't take toys away from Dylan. You have to share.
Dylan: No no no no no no no!
My 13 month old has learned the word no. Lord help us all!
