What a busy week it's been! Michael's UIL play went up this week (they advanced, yay!) So I've pretty much been on my own with the girls this week because he doesn't get home until they're in bed. It looks like (since they advanced) next week will be the same. Oh well. It's good for him and his students and it's not forever. So, here's what I need to catch up with...

Monday, March 22nd:

Stickers! Scout and Dylan found some stickers. Scout actually gave a couple to Dylan - she NEVER shares stickers, so this was quite a moment!

Tuesday March 23rd:
Scout put some stick-on earrings on and had to show me

Wednesday March 24th:

Tonight we all went to daddy's school so that Dylan could be in his play! Her stage debut! Woo hoo! So, this is us backstage (well, under the stage) playing around with a mirror to keep them busy.

I'm not sure why this one is sideways...

Thursday March 25th:
Dylan has been eating more and more table foods... she's almost not interested in baby food any more. My little girl is one and not a baby anymore!!!

Friday March 26:
Today I was struck by how beautiful the new rose bush looks

Saturday March 27:
Today we went to an Easter egg hunt with Noa. We spent the day with her at her house, the hunt, and the park. The girls had a great time, but didn't take a nap so by the end of the day, they were worn out!

Mommy: And we'll see all of your friends at daycare today. We'll see Claudi... and Jessa... and Avery... and Miss Becki... and Miss Jamie... who else will we see?

Scout: Barney!

"No, mommy. Where did Sue Sue go?"
~Scout 2/6/10 (After I explained to her that Sue Sue had to go bye bye. I told her she went back to her house and that satisfied her. So much for the simplest answers!)

Mommy: Scout, you look thug-a-licious in that hat.

Scout: (smiles) Thanks!

Our cats names are now "Yogurt" and "Okee"
Yogurt because Caillou's cat's name is Gilbert and when Scout says it, it sounds like yougurt.
Okee is because I asked Scout what we should name the other kitty and she said "other kitty" which sounds like Okee in toddler-talk.

Mommy: Scout, we don't take toys away from Dylan. You have to share.
Dylan: No no no no no no no!
My 13 month old has learned the word no. Lord help us all!
