Giving it another shot

So, I am going to try this blogging thing again. I've run into problems finding the time to post anything... the site is blocked at work and I am just so tired when I get home that I have no desire to write about my day or thoughts or whatever. The good news is, we have about a month until baby girl Stephens #2 is here and then I will be home for about 6 weeks, at work for a couple, and then home for the summer. Not that I think I will have tons of time to post with two little girls under 15 months, but one can dream, right? I'm also dreaming of getting back into digital scrapbooking. I'm sad to say that I probably haven't created at single page since August of 08. I've got a lot to catch up on for Scout's book and now I'll have a whole new book to start!

So what's going on lately? Well, it's spring break this week, so I am supposed to be relaxing. Unfortunately, Scout has yet another ear infection. This means no rest for mommy. She is at daycare today, but they've called and said that her fever is way up again. I felt like a horrible person because I am at home, but I told them to give her some tylenol and see if it goes down. I feel like a good mommy would go get her baby right now, but I picked her up early yesterday and spent my whole afternoon taking her to the doc and pharmacy and then calming her down at home. There's really nothing I can do for her but hold her and rock her and I'm just not up to it right now. A good mommy needs to take care of herself sometimes too, right?

So, this week's goals are to get all of the regular laundry done including sheets on our bed and Scout's. I want to wash all of the newborn and 0-3 month clothes for this baby girl and get a few drawers cleaned out for her. I need to get the pack n play set up in our room, and wash all of the cloth parts to the bassinet.

That's all for now. The load of clothes in the dryer is calling to me. I'll try to come back and post some recent pictures in a bit...
