2 months!

Wow! It's been nearly 2 months since I have posted. I have good reason. Well, several good reasons actually! Miss Scout started day care. It was a rough start as she is very attached to mommy and has had some separation anxiety issues. They tell me that she stops crying within a minute or two of me leaving, but it's so hard to leave her every morning when she is wailing like that! She always has a big smile for me when I go to pick her up in the afternoon and it makes it all worth it.

She started day care because her daddy and I went back to work. The school year seems to be flying by and it's hard for me to believe that we are about to start the 5th week of school. My school has had some major scheduling issues which led to a complete overhaul of the master schedule. This means that every single student on campus got a new schedule last Monday. It was almost like starting over from scratch. They are working out the final kinks now and things are moving along more smoothly. I've missed several days of work already because we all got a stomach virus. Not fun at all. The worst part is that I couldn't take much for it because of the other reason I've been so busy...

We're pregnant again! I am so thrilled. It's a little scary knowing that we will have two children under two years old soon, but it's exciting, too. I am starting to get a "girl" vibe, but we'll see. The pregnancy is going okay so far. My hcg levels are rising the way that they should and my progesterone level is higher - which means I won't have to get a shot in my @ss every week like I did with Scout! Hurray for that! I did have some bleeding last week that scared me. Terrified me, more like it. I bled with Scout, but it was never bright red like this and it wasn't this much. I was convinced I was losing the baby. But, a blood draw and u/s showed that everything is fine and I had another u/s this week that showed a healthy little baby's heart beating away in there. So I guess bleeding is just "normal" for me with my pregnancies.

Leaving them at daycare can be harder on us than them. Congrats on the pregnancy!
